The Eagle has Landed!

Letter to ELM – The follow-on from the Letter of Intent distributed on 3 July 2020 (click on the blue highlighted links to download).

A watershed meeting was convened by the Executive Mayor, Cllr Rev Gift Moerane, on Thursday morning, at the EfC offices (located inside the Emerald Resort & Casino grounds). This event was most productive, positive, and forward looking, in a spirit of unity and collaboration. See the short FaceBook post by Richard Chaka.

You are witnessing history in the making, right here, right now, and you are part of it! Now is the time to bury the hatchet and look forward to Building a New Emfuleni together!

The first order of business will be to commence with Phase 1 of the Electrical Infrastructure Intervention program (EIIP) by kicking off with inspections of the most critical electrical infrastructure as highlighted in the Letter to ELM. This will commence on Tuesday, 14 July.

We will keep you posted on progress via the News page on our website, as well as through the media, as this enterprise has already proven to be the stuff of legends.

Please do not forget to sign our Petition right away, and feel free to distribute this post wide and far – We need this message to go viral – World wide!!

Let’s enter the New Normal (post COVID-19) and make life Better! Let’s embrace this opportunity and show the world how a community can stand up from the ashes and take flight to new heights, by not only restoring Emfuleni to its previous glory as the hub if industry and heavy engineering in Africa, but as a new Sustainable Metropolis by embracing latest global best practice, trends and innovations. We will not leave a single stone unturned in our quest to turn this tide.

We’ve seen too many isolated, somewhat short-sighted, attempts at recovery, with moderate levels of success, but most end up in failure. What is needed is a holistic approach, with structure and collaboration, because we have no hope in hell of ‘gunning it alone’. We will only succeed if we stand UNITED!

The Unstoppable Movement for Positive Change (UMPC) is creating the tsunami that will sweep across South Africa, and supported by the United Movement for Constitutional Accountability (UMCA), a structure created for the sole purpose of rapid replication of a model for the Special Purpose Vehicles (Change Agents) that will drive the strategy for Positive Change. Emfuleni for Change NPC (EfC) is the first of these SPVs, breaking the ground and setting itself up as the model to replicate, with a holistic, 3-Part Strategy for Change!

Join us by signing the Petition, and if you would be interested in joining our growing list of Benefactors (see below, and without whose support we would never have reached this point!), and in so doing, you will be invited to directly take part in the decision-making process, please contact me on +27 78 879 6851 or email me at GerhardJvR@efc.umca.co.za. Your financial assistance will ensure that we will build out the capability and competence needed to drive this Intervention Program forward.
